The best of bore thru

Bore-thru (also written bore-through) is a club construction method where the hosel extends through the entire club head from top to bottom, rather than stopping at the top of the head as in a traditional hosel.

Why it matters:

The main effect is on feel and sound at impact. Because the shaft is more directly coupled to the face, vibration travels up the shaft more efficiently — many players describe the feedback as crisper and more immediate. It also lowers the effective center of gravity slightly, since material that would otherwise form the upper hosel is redistributed or eliminated.
